CA Animesh Mukhopadhyay
Partner
CA Animesh Mukhopadhyay is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India with the standing of more than 25 years and has a post CA qualification in the field of Information Systems Audit. He is also a qualified INSOLVENCY PROFESSIONAL and member of INDIAN INSTITUTE OF INSOLVENCY PROFESSIONALS –ICAI. Additionally, Mr Mukhopadhyay has also done certificate courses from ICAI in the field of MSME, Start Ups and CSR matters.
His main area of expertise includes project financing and mentoring of MSME units, social sector audits and impact assessments, Corporate Laws including merger and acquisitions, matters connected to US Corporate laws and investment opportunities, collaboration matters, working on SOX, handling of IFRS implementations, issues connected to investigations and appeal cases of companies at NCLT level, advisory services on public issue matters, matters pertaining to takeovers, mergers, etc. Further Mr Mukhopadhyay is presently serving as a Resolution Professional in various companies and providing support services under Insolvency & Bankruptcy Code 2016.
Mr Mukhopadhyay has served and represented various companies on issues relating to erstwhile Company Law Board and presently at various NCLT benches and investigation matters situated in West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, North Eastern India, Orissa, Mumbai and Delhi. He is also a trainer on corporate laws and compliances and serves companies based all over India.
Mr Mukhopadhyay is the member of the panel of Mediator and Conciliator of Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Eastern Region.
Mr Mukhopadhyay has served as a Co-opted member of Digital Accounting and Assurance Board of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India for 2022-23. Mr Mukhopadhyay has also served as the co-opted member of Corporate Laws Committee of Eastern India Regional Council of the ICAI for 2024-25.
Mr Mukhopadhyay is a prolific speaker on issues of corporate laws and corporate governance and regularly speaks on issues related to corporate laws and allied litigation practices in various forums and study circles of ICAI and Income Tax Department. He has served as one of the Contributors on Companies Auditors Report Order 2016- Guidance Note published by ICAI and a regular contributor to Members’ Referencer of EIRC ICAI.
Mr Mukhopadhyay is the Past President of Accountants’ Library, one of the oldest associations of CAs since 1947.
